🌿 Sometimes the most valuable business investment isn't another course or marketing strategy... it's having an advocate in your corner.

Running a business can feel surprisingly lonely.

You're making important decisions every day, wearing ten different hats, wondering if you're focusing on the right things, and trying to keep up with the never-ending to-do list.

That's why I offer Entrepreneur Mentoring.

This isn't business coaching built around hype or hustle.

It's a supportive space where we work through the real challenges of running a business—together.

Some of the things we might explore include:

🍃 Pricing with confidence—not second guessing your worth

🍃 Marketing in a way that attracts the right clients

🍃 Selling with confidence and authenticity

🍃 Taking control of your cash flow and finances

🍃 Creating bookkeeping habits that support your success

🍃 Having accountability and encouragement as you grow

After 20 years of working with entrepreneurs, I've learned something important:

Most business owners don't need more information.

💯They need someone they trust to help them make sense of it all.

If you've been wishing you had someone to bounce ideas off, ask questions without judgment, and help you navigate both the financial and practical side of business, I'd love to support you.

Because building a successful business shouldn't mean doing it alone. 🌱

🌿 Arrears to Alignment | The Call Nobody Wants to Receive

Recently, I received a call from a client that started with:

"Erin... CRA just called me."

I could hear the worry in their voice.

The truth is, they weren't in trouble because they had done something wrong.

They had simply fallen behind.

And that's a situation I see more often than you might think.

Life gets busy. Businesses demand your attention. Cash flow gets tight. Before you know it, one missed filing turns into several, and the thought of dealing with it becomes more overwhelming with each passing month.

If this sounds familiar, I want you to know something:

There is no judgment here.

When clients come to me with arrears, my first thought isn't, "Why did you let this happen?"

It's, "Okay. You're not alone in this, I'm here to help"

That's what Arrears to Alignment is all about.

Not shame.

Not blame.

Just clarity, a manageable plan, and steady progress toward getting caught up.

If you've been avoiding that phone call—or worrying about the next one from CRA—know that you don't have to navigate it alone.

🌿 Why bookkeeping doesn't make you money... but ignoring it can cost you.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from business owners is:

"I'll focus on bookkeeping later. Right now I need to work on the things that actually make me money."

And I understand that thinking.

When you're running a business, it's natural to prioritize sales, serving clients, marketing, and everything else that brings revenue through the door. Bookkeeping can feel like an administrative task that doesn't directly grow your business.

The challenge is that bookkeeping isn't just about keeping CRA happy.

It's how you know whether you're actually making money.

It's how you spot cash flow problems before they become emergencies.

It's how you know whether you can afford that new hire, equipment purchase, or expansion you've been dreaming about.

I've seen business owners ignore their bookkeeping for years because it always felt less urgent than the next sale. Unfortunately, that can lead to missed tax filings, unexpected balances owing, CRA letters, penalties, and a whole lot of unnecessary stress.

The irony is that spending a little time understanding your numbers can save you a tremendous amount of time, money, and worry later on.

🍃 Understanding your numbers helps you make better business decisions.

🌿 Arrears to Alignment | It's Not Too Late to File Your Tax Return

Now that the rush of tax season is behind us, I've started receiving more calls from business owners who are ready to tackle their outstanding tax filings.

There seems to be something about the stress and urgency of tax season that makes it feel impossible to catch up. Once the rush has passed, many entrepreneurs finally feel ready to take that first step.

If your bookkeeping or tax filings have been sitting on your to-do list for months—or even years—I want you to know two things:

1. You're not alone.
2. It's not too late.

Many business owners carry around the weight of outstanding tax filings far longer than they need to. Not because they don't care, but because life happens. Businesses get busy. Cash flow gets tight. The longer it sits, the harder it feels to know where to start.

I see it all the time, and I hear stories like this every week.

The good news? You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

We'll start by understanding where things stand, identifying what's outstanding, and creating a plan that feels manageable—one step at a time.

That's what Arrears to Alignment is all about.

It's not just about filing overdue returns.

It's about replacing uncertainty with clarity, overwhelm with a plan, and moving forward with confidence.

🌱 If you've been thinking, "I really need to deal with this," consider this your kind reminder.

There is still time to get started before next year's tax season—and your future self will thank you.

Can trust exist without (healthy masculine) structure? 🌿

I've been reflecting on what trust really means, and I realized something surprising...

Maybe trust isn't about knowing what's going to happen.
Maybe it's about knowing we can count on ourselves, whatever happens.

From this week's blog:

"Perhaps trust is not the certainty that everything will work out exactly as planned. Perhaps trust is knowing that no matter what happens, I can count on myself to meet the moment with integrity and effort." ✨

If this resonates with you, I'd love to invite you to read the full post inside my free Entrepreneurs on Purpose community. The link to join is in the comments. 🌸
