Welcome to Ascend formerly Numera Tax and Accounting Services Ltd. We are here to assist you with your personal or corporate taxes and business needs. Unlike most accountants who deal solely with year-end issues and services our close and continuous involvement with each client is embedded in every aspect of our process. To be meaningfully involved, we need to earn your trust, and you need to know you're more than just numbers to be reviewed at year-end. As an owner-manager, you must make key financial decisions throughout the year: and to make those decisions confidently, you need the right information at the right time...from a source you can trust. As your "surrogate CFO" we will ensure the fundamentals are in place - business plans, financing, business systems and providing analytical support for decision making, feasibility planning for expansion into other markets, assistance with adapting to new technologies as well as succession planning. We are accounting professionals by trade, but in practice, we are fully committed partners in our clients success. As your personal accountant Ascend will help you maximize your tax deductions by advising you on tax strategies and recommend financial incentives, such as TFSA's and RSP's to help ease that end of year tax burden many of us experience.
