Sometimes I want to bang my head against the wall. Clients that get their taxes done who are self employed that don't claim vehicle or use of home office expenses when they qualify because someone did their taxes for FREE or very little money. Then they owe over $3500 in taxes and they pay it. Imagine getting your taxes done and possibly not owing any taxes because you had qualifying expenses. How much would you pay for that? We charge $75 for your basic tax return and an extra $100 for verifying your small business expenses. We just had a client that is going back home to find his receipts so we can refile his 2024 return and possibly his 2025. He owes over $4500 to CRA. No expenses were captured just sub contractor income from a T5018.

This is a real case result from September 3 2026 after 8 months of us fighting for our new clients. This clip includes the 2 bottom lines of 2 assessments the final result he still owes, but the real amount $2865.84 not the original $29,975.17
