I just finished reading an interesting book. It’s entitled “All I really need to know I learned in Kindergarten” Millions of copies of this book have sold. I simply had to snap a picture of its back cover where he summarizes what he’d learned.

About me and how/why I can help you

From a young age, I've had a passion for organizing and putting things in order, whether it be words, numbers, or even people. This knack for organization led me to enjoy managing fundraising calendar orders and payments in my primary school, prompting my mother to suggest I become an accountant. After raising my three daughters, I pursued this path and returned to school to become an accountant.

I thrive on helping my clients improve their businesses and reduce stress, which often spills over into their personal lives. My journey to better health and well-being began after major surgery, when I discovered MindValley, the world's largest self-development company. Implementing basic lifestyle changes significantly improved my health.

I firmly believe in the principle: “Do what you do best and outsource the rest.” I'm passionate about assisting those who need help with "the rest."

Many people buy accounting software thinking it's a quick fix, only to face costly issues later. Proper setup and consultation from the start can prevent these problems. For more information, visit my website at www.sybillesaccounting.ca

Hiring an expert from the beginning saves time and money. I've seen business owners, even those who closed their businesses years ago, face tax audits or other financial issues that could have been avoided with professional help. For instance, one client had to prove the cost of investments he sold, which were purchased with proceeds from his business sale. This issue, not reflected on T-slips at the time, was quite convoluted. However, once sorted out, the Tax Department reversed their request, saving him thousands of dollars.

Successful entrepreneurs and C-suite executives often suffer from stress. I, too, experienced this and learned about the impact of food on stress through Viome, Precision Nutrition's approach to making serious diseases optional. As a certified Viome Precision Nutrition coach, I've successfully applied these principles to my own life and am very eager to help you do the same.

I was of course very saddened when I learned that a dear friend had passed away recently. I grieved for him. But these emotions were followed quickly by great regret, disappointment, even close to anger about the supreme waste of a young life, father to a still small son and husband to a wonderful wife. Of course, what I have learned during the last few months and am eager to share with you would have come too late for him. However, I want to share with you the story of my own Health Journey, hoping it will give many of you hope and encouragement to hang in there:

I am a Very Happy 4-year Pancreatic Cancer Survivor. That cancer doesn’t usually reveal itself until the final stage. But there is much more to my Health Journey.

It had started with a Whipple Surgery, a 7–8-hour procedure, followed by a minor complication a couple weeks later, coinciding with the first Covid-19 shut-down in Ontario. Six months later another complication, which according to the surgeon was fairly common. During both hospital stints my wonderful youngest daughter came from Canada's West Coast to Ontario, spending six weeks each time attending to me.

"Mom, I can't keep doing this, consider moving out to BC" she'd suggested. Not a problem, because I had already started preparing my property to sell as market conditions were favorable. It included my 4-guestroom Bed & Breakfast in addition to my accounting office.
Add a successful house hunting trip to BC in November, closing the deal on my Ontario Property right after Christmas, flying back to Ontario for my surgeon's appointment and to finalize packing up my belongings for the move to BC. (Oops, I'm a packrat and I'd moved to this property 40+ years ago, already with a collection including some stuff brought along when immigrating from Germany a decade and a half earlier.) But, hey, what's a second 3,000 mile move during a lifetime! – LoL

So, about 3 1/2 years ago I moved into this lovely situated, peaceful Condo Apartment. I call it my Treehouse, because the long window wall is completely covered by a huge Katsura Tree. But I confess, I initially was a bit disoriented, both driving and walking. Sometimes it felt that I walked like a tottering old woman. And then things moved upward and forward.

It all started when I googled the Three-finger Method learned decades earlier during my Silva Method of Mind Control studies. This led me to Mindvalley, the world's biggest self-growth company. Thus far I have only scratched the surface their offerings include. But the cumulative effect of applying as much of what I've learned astounds me anew every day.

I no longer totter, nay, I actually stride out. Most mornings I put in 7 rounds = about 5kms on the track of the nearby park. Recently before breakfast, so as to miss the higher summer temperatures. There I met and developed an amazing friendship with a much younger Sikh lady. Just using the Punjabi word for Good Day that she taught me appears to have blessed me with acceptance in this Community, where Whites seem to be the minority.

Applying the coaching principles and practices I learned during my recently completed Certification of the Viome Precision Nutrition Coaching Program, has improved my Health and Well-being to the point where once again I enjoy foods and feel great. During the several years when I took the prescribed medication to help digest my food after the removal of my gallbladder, I had to force myself to eat. Even the thought and smell of food used to knot my stomach. Since renewing my enjoyment of food, I hope to gain some flesh back. Muscle has redeveloped nicely thanks to the use of my great Urban Walking Sticks.

Needless to say, when I learned that the second book written by the founder of the Viome Precision Nutrition company, Naveen Jain, was about to be published I pre-ordered it. A few days ago, the Kindle version appeared on my iPhone. Entitled "The Youth Formula". And I simply had to read it cover to cover.

Wow, imagine you have the option to choose living well beyond a century, while remaining in excellent health until you draw your final breath!

Since I gratefully enjoy every second of every day now, that's a clear-cut choice for me.

Who out there is with me on such an exciting journey?

A chance remark revived a memory of a book by the author Heinrich Heine. I had received this book as a graduation price from the Handelschule in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, Germany. It had a dedication page signed by the school’s principal.

This book disappeared from the bookshelf in the guest living room of my former Sybille’s Garden Bed & Breakfast in Hensall, Ontario. Perhaps a guest had been reading it while visiting and it got packed up inadvertently on departure. Perhaps by the spouse.

If anyone has seen or knows of the whereabouts of this book, please let me know. I would dearly love to get it back. Memories!
