Quickly approaching is the main 2015 T1 personal tax return deadline of April 30th, 2016, however as it is a Saturday, the deadline is Monday, May 2nd, 2016, being the next business day and is also payment deadline for all 2015 T1s with a balance owing including self employed 2015 T1s and annual 2015 GST Filers with the tax returns being due on June 15th, 2016.

2016 T1 EFILE opens Monday, Feb. 15th, 2016. The 2015 RRSP Contribution deadline is Feb. 29th, 2016. The 2015 T1 balance owing payment deadline is April 30th, 2016.

For businesses, most 2015 Tslips are due by Feb. 29th, 2016.

*The RRSP contribution deadline is tomorrow, Monday, March 2nd, 2015. Tomorrow is also the 2014 Tslip filing and issuing deadline for businesses.

Final 2013 payment deadline for self - employed remains April 30th per CRA.
