In light of all that is going on in the world right now, if you are feeling ill, if you have been travelling or have been in contact with anyone that has been sick or travelled recently, I would ask that you please do not visit my home office. I will be able to help you via phone, email or messanger. I understand that everyone wants their taxes done in a timely manner, but I need to put my family`s health and saftey first. Thank-you for your co-operation!

The April 30 Tax filing deadline is 3 weeks from tomorrow! Please remember that I am very busy and as we approach the deadline, I will be doing all returns on a first come, first serve basis. I do income tax in addition to my regular business bookkeeping, so if you have not got your information to me, it is best to do so ASAP. Thanks

Good morning everyone! Tax season is here again and I am here to help. I do my best to get tax returns completed as quickly as possible, but I ask that you get your information to me as early as possible to avoid any time crunch as it gets closer to the Apr 30 deadline. Please respect the fact that I am one person with a very busy schedule working very long hours during tax season.

Just a note of warning for those of you with children under 18 (that are not considered disabled) - the fedral government has eliminated the federal tax deduction for children under 18 for the 2015 year. They seem to think that by giving out the extra UCCB that it makes everything OK, but now that it is tax time, it will actually not be good for some families. The UCCB is a taxable income (that has had no tax deducted from it) and you can no longer take the federal credit to reduce the amount of taxable income that you have federally. This will mean that some families that have never had to pay tax before at tax time, could owe money. Please don't be mad at the poor tax preparer - remember, it affects me too :( :( :(
