That was me. Every 30 minutes. I was losing my mind honestly.

Then I realized the people actually making money weren't checking constantly at all.

A retired carpenter taught me something about money... and he never once mentioned the stock market.

Years ago, I watched an elderly carpenter sharpen his tools before he started work.
Someone asked him why he spent so much time sharpening when he could already
begin cutting.

He smiled and said,

"A dull tool makes you work harder than necessary."

I've never forgotten that.

Most people think building wealth is about working harder.

But what if we've confused activity with progress?

Facebook quietly changed something that could change how people build trust online.

For years, when you searched for an answer, you searched the internet.

Now, Facebook is increasingly showing answers based on what real people are saying in public posts, Groups and Reels.

Think about what that means.

The internet used to reward the person who shouted the loudest.

Now it's starting to reward the person with the most believable experience.

That made me ask myself a question.

If you had to explain your financial life without mentioning how much money you have...
..would people say you're disciplined?

Or would they say you're busy?

Because those are two completely different things.

Busy people are always reacting.

Disciplined people are usually building systems.

The older I get, the more I realise that wealth isn't built by making hundreds of brilliant decisions.

It's built by removing hundreds of unnecessary ones.

That's one reason AI trading bots have caught my attention.

Not because I believe a bot is "magic."

Not because I think it predicts the future.

But because it follows rules that most humans struggle to follow consistently.

It doesn't panic because of a scary headline.

It doesn't suddenly become greedy after three winning trades.

It simply follows the strategy it was given.

Look at this beautiful moment. A hardworking dad walking through the door after a long shift, bringing flowers just because his daughter had a tough day at school. As parents, we will break our backs and work endless hours just to be that hero for our kids. We want to protect them from everything.

But here is a hard truth we have to face today: being their emotional safe space is only half the battle.
