I am the owner of FORVAN Financial Firm Inc., with more than 28 years of experience across the financial services industry.
My journey in financial education and services began in 1998 while I was a collage student, working part-time with Heritage Scholarship Trust Fund. In 2001, I became a licensed Financial Advisor with Primerica, expanding my expertise in personal financial planning and client education. In 2007, I obtained my license to facilitate Commercial and Residential Mortgages with The Investment House of Canada.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience across multiple areas of financial services and risk management. I have managed subprime automotive lending transactions as a Credit Manager with Dealer Finance Experts and The Approval Centre. I also worked with Davis and Henderson as a Business Cheques Fraud Detection Specialist and eSwitch consultant, where I developed valuable expertise in fraud prevention, financial risk, and payment services. In addition, I served as a Benefit Specialist with The National Benefit Authority.
After decades of experience working across various areas of the financial industry, I identified a significant gap in the marketplace: Credit Management and the importance of maintaining and protecting one’s credit portfolio throughout every stage of their financial journey.
I recognized that many consumers, after entering a Consumer Proposal or Credit Counselling programs, may place their broader financial goals on hold. Without proper education and strategic planning, this can have a long-term impact on their ability to rebuild and strengthen their overall credit profile.
Driven by a desire to address this gap, I founded FORVAN Financial Firm Inc. in August 2012 with a focus on providing education, guidance, and strategic credit-management solutions. Our mission is to help clients better understand their credit, make informed financial decisions, and take proactive steps towards strengthening their financial future.
In February 2024, FORVAN Financial Firm Inc. was recognized among the Top 10 Financial Services Business in Ajax by Yelp and Legal Directorate. In April 2024, the firm was also invited to attend the Global Amsterdam Banking Risk Management Summit, marking an important milestone in our continued commitment to financial education, risk management, and industry development.
Today, I remain committed to empowering individuals and businesses with the knowledge and strategies they need to better understand, manage, and protect their financial profiles.
