No license = No skill. - Rentals Gone Wild.

When we used to rent Seadoos we would never encounter these issues as we would deny customers that didn’t get the point and we would collect a deposit high enough that clients were scared to loose it. Now a days it’s a free for all on the water.

What are your thoughts on the Greater Toronto Area PWC Rental situation?

Seadoo Spark running rough? Not getting to top speed? Already checked the Jetpump and its okay? It could be many things but here’s the easiest one that usually is the culprit due to lack of maintenance.

No need to charge for diagnosis when you’ve been doing it this long.

So be honest… who’s actually at fault here — the lead rider or the one behind?
And more importantly… have you ever come THIS close to a crash on the water?

💧⛽ No start? Sometimes the problem isn’t the battery… it’s what’s in the fuel tank.

This Sea-Doo was towed into TorontoPWC because it would crank but refused to start.

The culprit?

Water contamination in the fuel tank.

Even a relatively small amount of water can prevent the engine from running properly, leading to hard starting, rough operation, or a complete no-start condition.

Our repair included:
✔️ Diagnosing the no-start condition.
✔️ Confirming water-contaminated fuel.
✔️ Draining and cleaning the fuel system.
✔️ Refilling with fresh fuel.
✔️ Testing the system to make sure everything was operating as it should.

Water can enter a fuel tank in several ways, including a loose or damaged fuel cap, contaminated fuel, or water intrusion during storage or transport.

The good news? Catching it early can often prevent more serious fuel system issues.

If your Sea-Doo won’t start, don’t start replacing parts at random. A proper diagnosis can save you time, money, and frustration.

💦 6 hours on the meter… and completely hydrolocked.

This 2026 Kawasaki came to us after rolling over in the water. Water entered the engine, causing it to hydrolock and leaving the owner thinking the worst.

Fortunately, fast action can make all the difference.

Our team got straight to work:
🔧 Disassembled the necessary components.
🛢️ Performed five complete oil changes to remove every trace of water contamination.
⚙️ Carefully inspected, dried, cleaned, and reassembled the engine.
✅ Tested everything to ensure it was running exactly as it should.

Less than 24 hours later, this Kawasaki was back up and running.

Recovering a hydrolocked engine isn’t as simple as changing the oil once and hoping for the best. It takes patience, experience, and attention to detail to give the engine the best chance of a full recovery.

When your personal watercraft goes down, we know every sunny day counts. That’s why at TorontoPWC, we work hard to get you back on the water as quickly as possible without cutting corners.
