When the woman you love is honoured. ❤️
Last week, the local chapter of the Sorority Club Alpha Delta Kappa recognized my amazing partner, Dr. Tracy Bray, as their 2025 Woman of Distinction—and I couldn't be prouder.
Every two years, the sorority honours a woman who exemplifies dedication to community service. Tracy was nominated by her fellow member, Mrs. Pearl Tucker—and if you know Tracy, you’ll know how fitting this honour truly is.
Raised by parents who believed in the importance of giving back, Tracy has lived those values her entire life. For her, community involvement isn’t just service—it’s joy, connection, and purpose. Here are just a few ways she’s made a lasting impact:
Former President of the Women’s Sales & Ad Club
Longtime coach and team manager with Belleville Youth Soccer and Batawa Ski Racing Club
Participant in Dancing with the Stars Quinte, supporting Volunteer Information Quinte
Active Rotarian since 2009 and Club President in 2017; currently serves as Program Chair
For over 12 years, she’s organized a Christmas party for children with special needs, complete with a visit from Santa 🎅
Co-organizer of Porchfest, a beloved neighbourhood music event—her porch has hosted musicians for 14 years, and she’s become famous for serving up chili and hot dogs
A driving force behind the Rotary’s annual work weekend at Camp Merrywood, a camp for children with physical disabilities—she coordinates landscaping and keeps the crews fed and energized
She gives her time, her energy, and her heart—without ever expecting recognition.
So when someone like Tracy is honoured, it’s not just special—it’s deeply moving.
Congratulations, my love. You truly are a Woman of Distinction.
