Our Partner Anthony Thomas Ashiotis, of Anthony Ashiotis & Co., is presenting and sponsoring “Friends for Oscars”, a great play for a great cause! All proceeds will go to the Social Welfare Program of the Cyprus Red Cross Society, helping families in need.

Anthony is the scriptwriter, head of the production, and also a member of the cast of this performance: a hilarious comedy revolving around the lives of two couples and a most dynamic mother-in-law living in South London in the year 2021.

“Friends for Oscars” will be held on Wednesday 24 November 2021, Thursday 25 November 2021, and Friday 26 November 2021, at Satirico Theatre Nicosia, Cyprus. And the show will be streamed and promoted worldwide.

The performance is organized and supported by the Rotary Club of Nicosia, the Cyprus Red Cross Society, the British High Commission Nicosia, and the Anglo Cypriot Theatre Group.

We are very pleased to announce Luis Alfredo Monzón, Managing Partner of L. A. Monzon & Asociados has been re-elected President of The Guatemalan-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Cancham Guatemala, during the Annual General Assembly celebrated last week.

Luis Monzón is a Public Accountant and Auditor. His professional experience for more than 20 years has led him to be in charge of the direction, planning, and ex*****on of financial audits carried out at different companies at the national and regional levels. He has also participated in the provision of Audit, Administrative Consulting, Corporate Governance, Transfer Price Studies, Tax Consulting, and Tax Defense services in national and multinational companies.

The Guatemalan-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Cancham Guatemala, is an apolitical, non-religious and non-profit association whose mandate is to promote and expand trade relations, services and industry between Canada and Guatemala. Their objectives are to provide information to facilitate commercial exchange and industrial projects between the two countries, promote the transfer of technology and knowledge for the benefit of common interests and develop friendship and cultural activities between its members and institutions.
