What a day at KitsFest Vancouver! ☀️🏖️. Proud to see RBC celebrate its 4th year sponsoring , and for the second year supporting the Royal Bboy Championship Live Battle — an incredible showcase of athleticism, creativity, culture and local talent. Watching my two favourite Market Leaders — Sam Wong and Lisa Campardo — battle it out on stage to kick off the tournament was certainly a highlight for me! 😂🔥

A huge thank you to Yasmine Fahmy, Carmen Stossel, and everyone from who helped make today such a fantastic celebration of community.

I’m proud to be part of an organization that invests in events that bring people together, celebrate diverse talent, and help build stronger, more connected communities.

RBC + + = a pretty great combination! 💙

June 14th was a particularly special day for me. Not only was Exceleration Triathlon and MultiSport Club celebrating their 26th Tri-It Triathlon but with RBC as presenting sponsor I had the incredible opportunity to announce the race and welcome a record-breaking 580+ youth participants ranging in ages from 0 to 19! Seeing hundreds of young athletes challenge themselves, cross the finish line, and discover what they're capable of was truly inspiring.

Exceleration continues to be an outstanding non-profit organization that emphasizes respect for others and oneself, inclusion, generosity, gratitude, and the spirit of sport and healthy competition. These values were on full display throughout the day as athletes, families, volunteers, and community partners came together to create an unforgettable experience.

The Tri-It Triathlon provides a fantastic opportunity for children and youth to build confidence, independence, physical literacy, and a lifelong love of healthy activity in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether it was a first-time participant or a returning athlete, every young person had a chance to succeed and celebrate their accomplishments.

It's especially rewarding to see RBC supporting the community in such a meaningful, grassroots way. Investing in programs that help young people thrive, develop healthy habits, and build confidence is exactly the kind of impact that strengthens our communities for generations to come.

Congratulations to the entire Exceleration team, the volunteers, sponsors, parents, and most importantly, the incredible young athletes who made this year's event the biggest and best yet!

RBC is thrilled to return as the Premier Sponsor of KitsFest, Vancouver's #1 Sports and Arts Beach Festival, as it celebrates its 18th anniversary this summer! KitsFest embodies so many values that matter to us; healthy living, active lifestyle, community connection, diversity, and inclusion. Every year, the festival brings together people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to celebrate sport, arts, wellness, and community in one of Vancouver's most iconic settings. We're proud to continue supporting an event that fosters a welcoming environment for everyone and helps build stronger, more connected communities. The positive energy of KitsFest extends far beyond the festival itself. We look forward to another incredible summer of sport, culture, and community at KitsFest 2026. See you at the beach!

Giving back through your work is powerful—especially when it strengthens the communities we call home. This holiday season, I was proud to volunteer alongside my incredible RBC colleagues at the Exceleration Triathlon and MultiSport Club Red vs Yellow Swim Meet. As a proud RBC employee and RBC Olympian, moments like these remind me how meaningful it is when purpose and profession align.

A heartfelt thank you to RBC for the $1,500 donation to the Exceleration Tri-It School Program—a program I was proud to help lead in 2025 and benefit from an OLY Canada Legacy Grant. The Tri-It Schools Program delivers introductory triathlon skills to high-needs, inner-city schools in East and North Vancouver, with a strong focus on water safety, alongside , , and .

When organizations invest in youth, sport, and safety, the impact ripples far beyond a single event. Grateful to be part of a team—and a company—that shows up for community. 💙
