A relentless rally in equities, signs of firming job growth, and surprisingly hawkish FOMC Minutes all added to the view that the Fed's next move will be a hike, not a cut.

Douglas Porter, BMO’s Chief Economist, discusses this and more in his weekly Talking Points commentary, “All’s Well that Ends Well?” http://spr.ly/6000B8HTJ4

Inflation is back in focus, and markets are paying close attention.

In this edition of Weekly Strategy Perspectives, Carol Schleif explores what is driving the latest uptick in inflation, how it is influencing interest rates and investor sentiment, and why the path forward may not be as straightforward as headlines suggest.

The bottom line: Not all inflation is created equal, and understanding its drivers can help bring clarity during periods of uncertainty. Learn more: http://spr.ly/6005B8GVAS

Last week, BMO’s commitment to employee health and well-being was on full display at BMO’s second annual wellness conference — Foundations of Wellness: THRIVE, in support of Mental Health Awareness Month.

This year marked a bold shift, moving the conversation from resilience to thriving at work and in life. A big thank-you to the inspiring guest speakers: Paula Allen (TELUS Health), who shared insights on balancing Work, Play and Love; George Della Rocca (BMO), who spoke candidly about turning ADHD into a superpower; and Jenna Glover (Headspace), who explored how that small shifts can make a big difference.

I was thrilled to participate in this inspiring day of learning, connection and growth alongside more than 300 thought leaders and Team BMO colleagues, and I’m already looking forward to next year.
