Championship pedigree. NBA experience. A new era for Saskatoon.

We are proud to announce Isaiah Fox as the Head Coach of the Saskatoon Mamba for the 2026 season.

Coach Fox joins us from the NBA G League Salt Lake City Stars with three championships and a reputation for elite player development. From the Lakers to the 76ers and the Jazz, he’s coached at the highest level. Now, he’s bringing that standard to Saskatchewan.

The goal is clear. The grind starts now.

Welcome to the Mamba, Coach.

It was an eventful BNI Living Skies meeting yesterday — lots of visitors and two renewals 🎉

Big congrats to:

• Miranda for winning Best Weekly Presentation + taking home the Dundee Award 🏆
• Trey for earning Notable Networker 🙌
• Rosie for a Slam Dunk for checking all the boxes ✅🏀

Occasionally our BNI Living Skies chapter holds “closed meetings” to focus on the behind-the-scenes stuff—how we keep the chapter running smoothly, how we improve the member experience, and how we tackle issues as they come up.

This morning was a really productive one, and we still made time to recognize a couple members:
• Adhiya earned the Notable Networker Award (well deserved!). She couldn’t make it today to receive it from me, but we’ll get it to her next meeting.
• Allan took home the Dundee Award for Best Presentation—and honestly, the winning moment was his story about fixing a dryer by removing a dead bird from the exhaust vent. 😂 That one hit home for a few people in the room.

Big congrats to both of you—this is what makes BNI work: real relationships, real stories, and people showing up for each other.

Occasionally, we have "closed meetings", where we discuss chapter-related topics. This could be ensuring our chapter runs smoothly, ideas shared on how to improve the experience for members and other issues that arise. Today was a productive meeting, and we still awarded some members.
Unfortunately, Adhiya wasn't able to make it to receive her Notable Networker Award from JayDee, but Allan was in the room to take the Dundee award for best presentation. The winning factor waas the fact that he "fixed a dryer by removing a dead bird from the exhaust vent", which really hit home for some members! Well done, Allan!

Mark at Funky Moose Digital nailed it with this breakdown on number pools + call tracking.

From a CFO/controller lens, this is basically marketing cost control:
• If you can’t tie calls to a channel, you’re guessing.
• If you can’t tie booked jobs + margin to that channel, you’re optimizing vanity metrics.

If you’re spending real dollars on Google/Facebook, flyers, trucks, radio, etc., call tracking is one of the simplest ways to stop “marketing drift” and reallocate budget to what actually converts.

Mark’s article below — worth the read. 👇
