As we prepare for the 2026 tax season (reporting 2025 income), here are important deadlines from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA):

🗓 Key 2026 Personal Tax Deadlines:

✅ February 23, 2026 – NETFILE opens for online filing.
✅ March 2, 2026 – Deadline to contribute to an RRSP for the 2025 tax year.
✅ April 30, 2026 – Tax return filing AND payment deadline for most individuals.
✅ June 15, 2026 – Filing deadline for self-employed individuals (balance owing still due by April 30, 2026 to avoid interest).

🎓 Students: Don’t forget to claim your T2202A (Tuition and Enrolment Certificate) to maximize your tuition credits.

📌 Filing early helps avoid penalties and ensures uninterrupted benefit payments such as:
• Canada Child Benefit (CCB)
• Old Age Security (OAS)
