To be clear, I love farm life. 🤎🌾

What I don’t love is the idea that every time we want a little more financial breathing room, the answer is to “just get another job.”

I grew up as a farmer’s daughter, and I’ve been a farm wife since 2012. I know hard work. I also know what it feels like to work a town job to afford the farm life you want to be home enjoying.

That’s why I’m exploring digital marketing and digital products. Not because making money online is easy or guaranteed, but because I want to find another way to create options for our family without automatically giving up more time at home.

Because I don’t just want to work to afford this life. I want time to LIVE it. 🤎🐴

Why don’t you just get another job in town?” 🫠

Because, friend… I already have one. 😂🤎

I have a paycheck that helps pay for the farm life I love, but sometimes I feel like I’m spending so much time working to afford this life that I don’t get to enjoy it as much as I want to.

And when the bills keep coming, the farm needs what it needs, and you’re hoping the calves bring a good price… it’s hard not to wonder if there’s another way.

I don’t want to keep solving every money problem by giving up more hours away from home.

So I’m learning digital marketing, exploring digital products, and figuring out how to build another potential income stream online.

Am I an expert who has it all figured out? Absolutely not. 😂 I’m learning as I go, showing up as my awkwardly authentic farm-wife self, and taking small steps toward creating more options for our family.

Because I don’t just want to work to afford the farm life I love.

I want more time to actually LIVE it. 🤎🐴

I love this farm life. I want to be here for more of it.

But my paycheck pays for the horses I love, helps build our future, contributes to retirement, and helps with our daughter’s education.

I can’t just walk away from that security and hope it works out.

I’m tired of doing magic math every payday, trying to make everything fit.

I want to find a way to earn a living from home without sacrificing the life I’m working so hard to help build.

I don’t have it all figured out yet. I’m learning, trying, and looking for another option.

Please tell me I’m not the only farm wife caught between the life she wants to live and the paycheck she can’t afford to lose. ❤️🌾

I don't want to give up the farm life I love. I want to feel more secure financially while being here to help build our future.

But wanting to be home more doesn't make the bills disappear. And that paycheck is hard to walk away from when your family's future depends on it.

I'm learning about ways to earn from home because I want more options—not overnight success or another empty promise.

I love our farm life. I want to be here, helping build our future, instead of watching the clock at a job that doesn't feel like my future.

But the paycheck matters. It helps pay for everyday life, my horses, my daughter's education, and our retirement.
