By producing treatment free honey, the bees are not subjected to chemical medications used to fight off pests/diseases that contaminate the wax and honey. By supporting this philosophy the bees that survive are genetically stronger, and generally help the beekeeping industry. Bees are in trouble, and need all the help they can get!
