Today in Bridgewater, Adam Axworthy, through his role with the Community Futures Network of Canada, had the privilege of joining Minister Valdez, MP Jessica Fancy and BDC’s Jason Patuano for the announcement of a new $100 million partnership between Canada’s 267 Community Futures Organizations and the BDC to support rural and remote entrepreneurs across Canada.
Through local Community Futures or Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) in the East, rural entrepreneurs can now access new loans of between $50,000 and $500,000, giving them the support they need to start, grow, and strengthen their businesses right where they are.
Good news for local entrepreneurs! It’s been very rewarding work and a great day!
