If you don’t already have a CRA My Account, now is the time to set one up — and if you do, make sure you can still log in. ✅

In mid-July 2025, CRA changed the way representatives (like your tax preparer) can be authorized on your account. These updates mean:

You must have access to your CRA My Account.

Without it, we may not be able to act on your behalf or view important tax information.

Setting it up now avoids delays and headaches when it comes time to file or respond to CRA.

Visit www.canada.ca/my-cra-account

Register (or recover your login if you’ve forgotten).

Keep your login details safe and ready.

Hello everyone!! My name is Steven Ford, I’m an accountant that specializes in taxation (personal and corporate) as well as full cycle bookkeeping. Here’s a little about me.

After being employed in the taxation industry for the past 20 years I’ve decided to break away and open my very own bookkeeping and taxation office.

A lot of you will recognize me as I’ve worked in Yellowknife for the past 15 years and have completed approximately 10,000 personal and corporate tax returns here. For those of you I’ve not had the pleasure of meeting I’m looking forward to our first meeting.

With 20 years experience in the field (15 years here in Yellowknife) I’ve worked my way up from a tax agent to managing the largest tax office in Yellowknife. I feel that I have the tools to meet any challenges that arise. From a straight forward personal tax return or a complicated corporate file that will need full cycle bookkeeping & a corporate return, you will find that I am more than capable to complete the task in a timely manner.
