لجنة السياسة النقديـة تقرر الإبقاء على أسعار العائد الأساسية دون تغيير
قررت لجنة السياسة النقديـة للبنك المركــزي المصـري في اجتماعهـا يــوم الخميس الموافـــق 21 مايو 2026 الإبقاء على أسعار العائد الأساسية دون تغيير. وعليه، تقرر تثبيت سعري عائد الإيداع والإقراض لليلة واحدة وسعر العملية الرئيسية للبنك المركزي عند 19.00% و20.00% و19.50%، على الترتيب. كما تم الإبقاء على سعر الائتمان والخصم عند 19.50%. ويأتي هذا القرار متسقا مع رؤية اللجنة لآخر تطورات التضخم وتوقعاته، وذلك في ظل بيئة خارجية تتسم بعدم اليقين.
MPC decides to keep key policy rates unchanged
The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has decided to keep its key policy rates unchanged. The overnight deposit rate, overnight lending rate, and the rate of the main operation remain at 19.00 percent, 20.00 percent, and 19.50 percent, respectively. The discount rate was also maintained at 19.50 percent. This decision reflects the Committee’s assessment of prevailing and forecasted inflation dynamics amid an unfavorable external environment.

تشرفت بالمشاركة كمحاضر في الدفعة الحادية عشرة من برنامج التدريب التأهيلي لمسئولي علاقات المستثمرين، الذي نظمه مركز المديرين المصري بالتعاون مع البورصة المصرية.

الموضوعات التي قمت بتغطيتها: التخطيط لوظيفة علاقات المستثمرين والموارد المطلوبة وقنوات ومنصات علاقات المستثمرين، برنامج وأجندة علاقات المستثمرين ومؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية لوظيفة علاقات المستثمرين (KPIs)، أهمية التسويق والقدرة على عرض استراتيجية الشركة وخططها المستقبلية ورؤيتها في مواجهة المخاطر المحتملة.

لقد كانت تجربة متميزة مع نخبة من المحاضرين والمشاركين حيث تم تبادل الخبرات والرؤى حول أفضل الممارسات الدولية في مجال علاقات المستثمرين.

It was my pleasure to participate as a lecturer in the 11th cohort of the Investor Relations Officers Training Program, organized by Egyptian Institute of Directors in cooperation with The Egyptian Exchange.

Topics I covered: planning the investor relations function, including required resources, as well as key channels and platforms; developing the investor relations program and calendar, along with defining relevant key performance indicators (KPIs); and the importance of marketing, particularly the ability to effectively communicate the company’s strategy, future plans, and vision while addressing potential risks.

It was a great experience with a distinguished lecturers and participants, featuring valuable knowledge exchange on international best practices in investor relations.

تشرفت بالمشاركة في اجتماع البورصة المصرية مع جهاز التمثيل التجاري لتعزيز التعاون وجذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية، تحقيقا لمزيد من تكامل الجهود لكي تأخذ مصر المكانة التي تليق بها على خريطة الاستثمار العالمية.

حيث قمت بالتعريف بنشأة البورصة المصرية ودورها الحيوي في الاقتصاد الوطني كمنصة للتمويل والاستثمار.

كما قمت باستعراض مبادئ عمل البورصة المصرية والفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة ودور الجهات الرقابية في حماية المستثمرين.

I was honored to participate in EGX's meeting with the Egyptian Commercial Service, that focused on strategic collaboration to attract foreign investment and reinforce Egypt’s rightful place on the global investment landscape.

I reviewed the establishment of EGX and its vital role in the national economy as a platform for financing and investment.

I also outlined the principles governing EGX operations, the available investment opportunities, and the role of regulatory authorities in protecting investors.
