Christmas is here
When I buy my first poinsettia of the season, I really feel Christmasy!
Just so as you don’t overspend, here are some guidelines to help!!!
📋 Start with a List: Before you dive into spending, make a list of all your expected holiday expenses. Do include presents, decorations, travel, food, and any others.
💰 Set a Spending Limit: Decide just how much you can comfortably afford to spend. This budget should be a realistic reflection of your financial situation. Do not overspend, is the ideal here
🤑 Track Your Expenses: It's essential to keep tabs on your spending. Make a point of checking in ( a notebook with a running total is easy or if you are so inclined, use free budgeting apps or spreadsheets to control your expenses.
🎯 Shop Smart: Look for sales, discounts, and online deals.
🎂 Potluck Parties: If you're hosting a holiday gathering, consider making it a potluck. This not only reduces your expenses but also adds variety to the menu. You can STILL be the hostess with the mostest! (or host! )
🎉 Focus on Experiences: Consider giving the gift of experiences, such as a spa day, concert tickets, or classes. These create lasting memories & show that you know the person well & have thought the present thru.
📚 Learn to Say No: It's okay to decline invitations or gift exchanges if you feel it will strain your budget. Prioritize your financial well-being. Boundaries are essential especially this time of the year.
Even if you follow only one of above, you are one step further to a happy January!!!
Much love & His Blessings for the season
