Crypto lending rates aren't always what they look like on the homepage.

On several major platforms, the lowest rate is locked behind a tier — and unlocking it means buying and holding the platform's own token.

We compared loans in Nexo, Crypto.com, and Bit2Me on how they set the rate you actually pay. This is not only for loans, but it also applies to other products within platforms who have native tokens.

Nebeus doesn't use this model. Your rate applies directly based on your collateral — same for every user, no token required.

But selling near the low meant locking in a loss of nearly 40%, and missing Bitcoin's recovery to approximately $83,800 in May.
