ALM-VISION is a FINTECH specialized in Asset and Liabilities Models for banks and financial institutions and other related pricing and financial simulation subjects.

The company is at the edge of its domain of expertise and we seek solid talent.

We seek a FINANCIAL ANALYST to support the team in Cebu. We seek a solid talent, attracted by actuarial studies and mathematical finance. We do not need someone with long experience or expertise in the field, but we are looking for someone with the intellectual capacities to learn.

Our domain is very technical and new in the Philippines. It is unlikely you already master it. Thus, we will train you.

We prefer a graduate of the following programs:
- BS Mathematics
- BS Statistics
- BS Accountancy
- BS Applied Mathematics
- Actuarial Science

Mission:

1. The financial analyst will be the interface between the IT development team and the business.

- In this role, the financial analyst will be responsible for testing the ALM software in coordination with the business and the IT team

- Interacting with the IT team on new developments (description of what is expected, explanation of the mathematical formulas) and bug resolution (description of the bugs, explanation of the correction to be made).

2. The financial analyst will be the center of business expertise in CEBU.

- responsibility of the documentation: updating, reviewing, improving the available documentation.

- customer support and hotline

- support to the sales team on technical modeling

- teaching the IT team about Finance

Technical profile:

- the most important is capacities in mathematics,

- statistics and econometry, or applied mathematics would be a plus

- accounting expertise and/or actuarial expertise (you don't need to be an expert, we will teach you)

- mathematical finance & financial analysis knowledge (you don't need to be an expert, we will teach you)

- knowledge of MS Excel

- some bases in programming is a plus

Psychological profile:

- able to work in autonomy (work from home)

- good oral expression and sociability
organized, rigorous, and reliable

- fluent in English and Filipino

- ready to travel to visit customers
(mostly based in Manila) regularly (about 4 to 6 times a year)

- curious to learn and understand finance
