Fast Growth Business of the Year!

We’re delighted to share that Nuvo won the Fast Growth category at the East Midlands Business of the Year Awards - on Thursday last week.

This time last year, we were 170 people in 16 offices, turning over £16m. Today, we're over 500 people across 26 offices, and turnover is £43m.

But growth on its own isn't the point. The point is what it means for the businesses we work with. Accountancy, tax, audit, advisory, payroll, HR, hiring, company secretarial and legal support, all from one team that knows you and your business.

Last night at the Roundhouse, Nuvo was named Silver Runner-up for 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 (𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗺) at the 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Relying too heavily on one or two customers is a major red flag when it comes to valuing your business.

If you've got a million pounds in turnover and £650,000 of that comes from just three clients, buyers will notice, and it increases their perceived risk. Even if they still go ahead with the acquisition, expect them to push the multiple down to reflect it.

A diversified customer base isn't just good practice, it protects your valuation.
