Don’t They Grow Up So Fast!

Those four painful letters GCSE, oh yes, we are living and breathing it. I believe that I’m more stressed than my daughter!

I always warn my clients with young children that they will be choosing their Uni before they know it. Now I feel I am taking a big spoonful of my own medicine. The cost of Uni is eye-watering, £27k for a 3 years course and then there are the living costs. £600pcm in rent, then there's books, food and drinking money. So I could be faced with a total cost of £40k just to put Olivia through University debt-free.

Here comes the sucker punch, I have two daughters and they are only 14mths apart. So it looks like I just managed to potentially double this cost.
If you want to know, you need to save roughly £185pcm from the moment they come into this big wide world to achieve £40k before university age.
I can confirm that my daughters will be acquiring some student debt if they wish to follow this route, but I am also thankful I have started savings plans early.
