✨Meet the Team ~ Say Hello to Ellie ✨

If you have already visited Beaumara recently, you have probably already met the lovely Ellie!💕 Although she is one of our newer team members, she has already become a huge part of the practice as our Practice and Brand Associate.

Ellie keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and she looks after all things marketing. 💻 She graduated University with a First-Class degree in Business Marketing and Management and has also discovered a real interest in the accounting side of the business.

When we asked Ellie what she loves at Beaumara, her answer was easy: ‘the welcoming and supportive work atmosphere, where every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow’ ☺️

Ellie brings endless positive energy to the office that brings fresh new ideas into the firm. She loves connecting with her colleagues and is always gathering the team together for a few lunch time card games 😂

My 8-year-old: “It’s a cat hotel… and the vampire cat doesn’t like sunlight.” 🧛🐱😂

Me: “OK… no further questions.” 🤣

🚗 The most common question we get?

“What car can I buy through my limited company?”

The tax world’s answer is usually pretty simple…

⚡ Electric car.
🚐 Or commercial… like a van.

Yes, there are other cars that may attract some tax relief or allowances depending on your circumstances.

BUT…

If you’re looking for the options that tend to be the most tax-efficient, the most attractive, and the least likely to make your bank and accountant sigh dramatically… it’s commercial vehicles and electric cars stealing the spotlight. 😎

As always, get advice before signing on the dotted line - the taxman has a habit of making things more complicated than TikTok accountants suggest. 😉

This is Karen, our Senior Practice Manager and one of the experienced brains behind the scenes at Beaumara.

Karen has been a qualified accountant since 2002 and brings over 30 years of experience in practice, including time spent working at a Top 50 accountancy firm. Safe to say… she knows her stuff.

What Karen loves most about Beaumara is being part of a relationship-led practice, where clients are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

She also gets to work alongside Katy, a friendship that’s lasted over 30 years, which makes the office a pretty special place to be.

Outside of work, Karen is a mum of two and loves nothing more than long walks with her two beagles (who probably think they run the house).

We’re very lucky to have her as part of the Beaumara team 💼
