What a fabulous experience for the boys to take part in this Play On The Pitch tournament at West Bromwich Albion over the weekend.. a day designed to inspire young players, nurture their love of football and allow them to dream of one day becoming a professional footballer ⚽️

Two of our U11s teams made it to the semi finals of this weekends Play On The Pitch tournament held at West Bromwich Albion The Hawthorns.

U11s Golds vs U11s Emeralds saw the Golds making it through to the finals where they were pipped to the post losing 1-0.

A great day had by all at the play on the pitch tournament at the hawthorns yesterday as the u11 Ducks golds played in the U11’s tournament at WBA. Having started slowly in the first game the boys were determined to show a great account of themselves dominating the final 2 games of the group stage to see themselves through to a semi final sadly against our own Aylesbury United U11 Emeralds team.
The only benefit being Aylesbury were guaranteed a team in the final; fortunately for the golds they came out on top of the game and went through to the final. Unfortunately, a wonder goal meant they were runners up losing 1 nil in the final but showing how good they can be and coming away with a runner up trophy.

Well done to both team a great experience for all the boys.

A pleasure to host you all yesterday!

Having recently achieved our CSR Accreditation it was great for us to be able to share our experiences of the whole process.

The CSR Roundtable on Community Engagement was a great success, bringing together Buckinghamshire businesses for an open, practical discussion on making a difference locally.

There was real energy in the room, with attendees sharing experiences, building new connections, and leaving with fresh ideas and clear next steps. A key theme was the shift from ad hoc activity to more strategic, long-term approaches aligned to business goals.

Thanks to Richard Collins of CSR-A Accreditation for leading the session, and to Dux Advisory for hosting. Thanks also to Shaun Brownsmith and Juliet Shayler (Wycombe Wanderers FC) for sharing their insights on delivering impactful, community-focused CSR.

Over the coming sessions, we’ll be taking a deeper dive into the four key pillars of CSR, exploring not just why they matter, but how organisations can embed them in a practical, meaningful way.
