💻 Our Digital Inclusion Sessions Are Back!
Want to feel more confident using a computer or making the most of digital technology? Our Digital Inclusions sessions are returning to Tideswell Village Hall.
Whether you're looking to use weather apps, manage livestock records, access government services or simply get to grips with everyday technology, we're here to help. No matter your age, experience or confidence level, we'll help you build your skills at your own pace.

The hardest part of farming isn't the work. It's the conversations.

Who does what. Where the money goes. The change one person wants and another won't hear of. Who takes over. It's so common for the same argument to go round for years, and there are practical ways to get it moving.

GRIP is a one-day workshop for farming families with Amy Hughes of EmpowerAg, coming to Cranage, near Holmes Chapel on Thursday 12 November and Long Buckby on Wednesday 11 November. Small groups, plain English, and you leave with your first steps written down.

Be Prepared: Rural Crime & Emergencies

Join us for a practical morning looking at rural crime, farm security, fire risks and emergency preparedness.

🌱 RABI – a demonstration of the new Farmers Aid app, highlighting practical support available to farmers and farming families.

Free PSA Testing for Farmers – Bakewell Market, 23 November 2026
Free PSA testing for farmers is coming to Bakewell this November. A simple blood test for male farmers over 40, giving farmers the chance to check their health quickly, simply and locally. PSA tests measure the level of prostate‑specific antigen in the blood, which can help identify early signs of prostate problems, including cancer.

Farm Resilience Programme: Water Management on Your Farm

How does water move across your farm, and what can you do to manage the risks of flooding, drought and pollution?

Join us for our next Farm Resilience Programme workshop, delivered by Sophie Harvey (Catchment Sensitive Farming), looking at practical approaches to water management on farms.

We’ll explore:

* How water moves through a farm – from rainfall and infiltration to runoff
* Identifying water-related risks
* Practical measures to improve water management
* Protecting watercourses and understanding relevant regulations
* How water management actions can link to available funding opportunities
