On Saturday we start the excavation project in earnest, with volunteers and professional archaeologists starting to dig. Volunteers will be wearing these 'dig' hi vis vests very kindly sponsored by D. Scott Financial.co.uk. Thankyou David... which are alarmingly bright -but means no one can get lost at the bottom of a trench! What the team is seeking from you all, is to do whatever is necessary to appease the weather gods and bring on some dry weather! - could you try really hard please ;)
