As we move into June, the first MTD quarterly deadline is fast approaching. After years of HMRC planning, Making Tax Digital is now fully underway.

The first MTD quarter ends on 5th July, and quarterly returns must be submitted using compatible digital software by 7th August.

If you have not yet arranged your software, please get in touch. We offer several solutions to suit the needs of all clients.

We’ve had a fantastic day completing our First Aid course with Pheniks Division Shoei was incredibly engaging, and we learned so much throughout the day.

We had a few "casualties" along the way, but I think Caylie McCarthy definitely came off worst after taking a chopstick to the head 🤣🤣

After all the CPR training, it feels like we've had a full workout too!

Hopefully we never need to put any of our new skills into practice, but it’s reassuring to know we’re prepared to help both our team and our clients should the need arise.

Back in January, the girl's pranked Kelly Jackson whilst she was boarding a flight!

That has now completely backfired as today we are attending Pheniks Division first aid training for the work place! So Kelly Jackson can safely leave them alone now 🤣🤣

🥂 We celebrated success at our Winners Lunch with the Women in Business Awards, recognising achievements and making meaningful connections.

🎓 Vicky Louise Lakin and Kelly Jackson visited MMU to support students presenting their marketing projects – it's always inspiring to see the next generation of talent showcase their creativity and innovation.

🚀 We also partnered with Faz and The Best of Northwest on an exciting workshop project, bringing together businesses and expertise to create something truly impactful.

🏆 And we rounded off the month in style at the incredible Men in Business Awards, celebrating outstanding individuals and achievements across our business community.

It’s always difficult losing a client, but when neither side wants the partnership to end, it makes it even harder.

Back in November 2025, we sadly lost a client due to a company buyout, as the contract required their accountant to take over.
