Well it finally looks like a resolution has been agreed on president Trump's tariffs. In the last week, Japan and the EU have agreed trade deals with the US which impose 15% tariffs on EU and Japanese exports to the US. Hopefully this will bring some much needed stability for business owners and investors for the rest of the year.
The term 'trade deal' is not really appropriate here. Japan and the EU haven't got anything out of the so called 'deal'.
Whichever way you look at it, these 'tariffs' are not good for anyone. The extent to which these tariffs damage individual company profits remains to be seen.
The are numerous articles about this subject.
