It's an OOKKEEVERSARY double celebration! 🥳🩵

Today we're celebrating two brilliant humans who have been part of the Ookkee journey for very different lengths of time!

🎉 George Haynes – 7 years!
🎉 Helen House – 2 years!

George has been with us since 2019 (yes, SEVEN years!) and has seen a whole lot of growth, change and evolution along the way.

Helen joined the team in 2024 and has become such a lovely part of what makes Ookkee, Ookkee.
.. Incidentally, probably the two team members who make us laugh the most without even trying!

One of the things we're most proud of is the team we're building. Not just brilliant people who know their stuff, but people who genuinely care about the work they do, the clients they support and each other.

And these two are very much part of that. 🩵

A huge thank you to George and Helen for everything you bring to the team. We're very lucky to have you both!

Everyone, meet Natalie! 👋🩷

We're very excited to officially welcome Natalie Iacona to the Ookkee team as our newest Client Manager!

Natalie has been with us for a few weeks now, getting stuck into life at Ookkee, getting to know our clients, experiencing her first photoshoot and finding her feet with our systems and processes.

When we caught up with Natalie about her first impressions, one thing really stood out, how much she's enjoying working with the team!

In fact, when we asked what she was loving most about her new role, her immediate answer was "Inga!" 😂 A lovely shoutout to Inga for being so supportive while Natalie settles in.

Natalie also described the culture at Ookkee as exciting, supportive and progressive, sharing how much she appreciates that our can-do attitude isn't just something we talk about, but something she can already see happening across the business.

And perhaps our favourite bit of feedback? That she feels comfortable being herself and has the support and processes around her to do her best work. 🩷

When she's not looking after our clients, you'll find Natalie cooking, gardening or listening to ALL the music. And we mean all of it! 🎶

We're really looking forward to seeing Natalie grow into her role and become part of the furniture here at Ookkee.

We want to with the AMAZING Inga a wonderful 40th Birthday!

Inga is an integral part of our team, not just for our clients but is well known for being so kind, welcoming and chatty within our team.

A lot of our work is invisible once it is working well.

We quietly fix duplicate transactions, untidy reconciliations, supplier queries, payroll changes, VAT coding issues, missing paperwork and processes that have become harder than they need to be.

When you’ve got around 100 people relying on you to get payroll right, every single month, you need to know it’s handled.

We received this little message from Caroline at RUND Partnership after George had been doing what George does best:

“Thank you as always George, we would be lost without you.”

It’s only one sentence, but it says a LOT.

Because payroll isn’t just another admin task. Behind every payslip is a person expecting to be paid correctly and on time and behind the business is someone who really doesn’t need the worry of managing all of that themselves.
