Reminder: Applications Still Open – Closing End of April
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere. Fast access to a defibrillator can make a critical difference in those first few minutes. ⚡️
At Mitchell Associates, we are proud to support local communities through the Mitchell Associates Defibrillator Fund (MADF).
Following a successful first round, including the installation of a funded defibrillator at Brecon Phoenix Boxing Club, we are continuing to welcome applications for Round 2.
Applications remain open until 30 April 2026. đź“…
We are looking to support organisations that:
• Deliver meaningful community benefit
• Can provide public access to the defibrillator
• Are committed to maintaining the device long term
Through MADF, we cover the cost of the defibrillator, cabinet and delivery.

Together, we can help make our communities safer and give more people a fighting chance when every second counts. ⚡️
Sudden cardiac arrest affects tens of thousands of people in the UK every year, often striking without warning in homes, workplaces and public spaces. Fast access to a defibrillator can dramatically improve survival, especially when used within the first few minutes of collapse. ⚡️
Despite their importance, public defibrillators are still used in only a small fraction of emergencies where one is available, highlighting the need for better access and improved public confidence.
At Mitchell Associates, supporting our community has always been central to who we are. This year, we introduced the Mitchell Associates Defibrillator Fund (MADF) to help place fully funded, publicly accessible defibrillators into deserving local organisations. đź’™
We are proud to share that Round 1 was a success, with our first funded defibrillator now installed at Brecon Phoenix Boxing Club. Their strong commitment to community wellbeing made them a perfect first recipient, and we are delighted to support the valuable work they do. 🥊
Round 2 opens on 6th February, so keep your eyes peeled for the application link.
Applications will remain open until 30 April 2026. Through MADF, we cover the cost of the defibrillator, cabinet and delivery, and we welcome applications from organisations that can demonstrate meaningful community benefit, ensure public access and commit to maintaining the device in the long term. đź“©
