Founded in 1948, Bailey of Bristol is the longest established UK independent caravan manufacturer with over 75 years’ experience in leisure vehicle production and design. During this period, our family-owned business has grown to become not only the Nation’s Favourite brand accounting for approximately one-in-three new caravan sales, but also now one of the largest in Europe. In 2011 the company s

uccessfully introduced this same level of expertise to the UK motorhome market, as well as expanding its operations by exporting to countries as far afield as South Korea and New Zealand. Then most recently, in 2023, as part of its 75th anniversary celebrations Bailey began production of the Endeavour, its first ever campervan range. Central to our recent success has been introduction of the Alu-Tech body shell construction system in 2009, which is seen by most observers as the most significant development in leisure vehicle production technology for three decades. Providing genuine design innovation, this fully patented technology means that Bailey leisure vehicles are now some of the best-engineered and the most technically advanced products on the market which keep owners comfortable, safe and secure, no matter how tough the conditions. To date approaching 75,000 Bailey leisure vehicles have been built with this ground-breaking technology and are currently being used around the world. Celebrating 45 Years of Partnership with Chipping Sodbury Caravans 🎉💙

This year, we’re incredibly proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone: nearly 45 years of partnership with Chipping Sodbury Caravans, a family-run business based in Gloucestershire, in the South West of England.

Back in 1982, it all began with what felt like a huge commitment: a £100,000 cheque for a batch of green-striped Bailey caravans. A bold move at the time, and one that marked the start of a journey built on trust, ambition and a shared passion for getting people out on the road. 🚐✨

Over the years, that partnership has grown from caravans to motorhomes and campervans, alongside decades of memories. From NEC show stands and lively Bailey award nights — often followed by a morning-after story or two! — to the people who helped shape the journey along the way. 🥂

Jamie and the team, thank you for being such an important part of the Bailey story. Here’s to everything we’ve achieved together, and to many more years ahead. 🙌📅
