We are now starting a new tax year. We can help those wishing to complete a tax return quickly where they are owed a rebate. We have considerable experience with the Construction Industry Scheme.

From today any self-employed person or landlord who had £50,000 income before any taxation or expenses in the year ended April 5th 2025 will now have to be registered for making tax digital. They will no longer be able to submit returns using the HMRC Gateway as before. We can help!

April 5th and a new tax year is almost upon us.

If you are a subcontractor in the construction industry we can help you carry out a prompt HMRC Self-Assessment asap after that date if you are due a tax rebate.

We can also help anyone with the new Making Tax Digital regime. Please note this will apply to anyone whose total from investments, self-employment and rental income exceeds £50,000. At this point the personal government gateway will no longer allow you to carry out HMRC submissions. For self-employed individuals with simple business needs this can be achieved with a template spreadsheet. We can help.
