🚨 What does your retirement look like? 🚨

Over the last few weeks, I have been helping various clients map out what their retirement situation looks like with the help of cash flow modelling systems.

Often I find that people make their own retirement decisions based on rough calculations, or maybe they presume they have to work up until state pension age.

Last week, I was able to demonstrate to a new client that she could afford to retire at age 63. Previously to working together, she believed she was going to have to work up until age 67 when she received her state pension 🙌🏼

I’ve also helped another client understand that she can reduce her working hours to three days from five, without it having much impact on her long term retirement plan ✅

Protection Review

I can’t stress enough how important it is to make sure that you have the appropriate cover in place to protect you and your family 🏡👫

I myself this week have reviewed what protection I had in place and made and noticed that I had quite a shortfall.

I have made amendments to my income protection policy and now know that if I was unable to work due to ill health, I have a policy in place that will provide me with an income so I can cover my household bills ✅🙌🏼

Last month I was invited to Farnworth Rose Solicitors for their monthly lunch and learn 🥪🤓

I delivered a presentation to some employees about the importance of saving, the impact of inflation and the benefits of investing 📈💰

It was Colne networking for me this morning at Tubbs of Colne which was a great meeting 👏🏼 the topic of the morning was how networking has worked for us all.

Then I was off for my final suit fitting for my wedding in a few weeks. Those who know me personally won’t be surprised to know that I’m currently waiting for my pants to be taken up 🤣 So admin catch ups it is 👌🏻
