And the winner of our Welsh Dairy Show sweet competition is……🥁🍬

Thank you to everyone who popped by the LHP stand at the Welsh Dairy Show and had a go at guessing how many sweets were in the jar!

We had some brilliant guesses, and it was lovely catching up with familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones throughout the day. Congratulations again to our winner, and a big thank you to everyone who came to see Team LHP! 💙

Little footballers, big smiles! 💙

We're really pleased to be sponsoring Peniel Panthers U6s and U7s this season!

Our Director, Eirian Humphreys, recently popped along to training to meet the young Panthers and wish them all the best for the season ahead.

It's lovely to see so many youngsters getting involved in football, making friends, learning new skills and, most importantly, enjoying themselves!

At LHP, we're proud to support local clubs and the communities we're part of, and it's always nice to see that support making a difference.

A big thank you to everyone at Peniel Panthers for the warm welcome, and to all the coaches and volunteers who give up their time to make opportunities like this possible.

Pob lwc for the season ahead, Panthers! We're cheering you on! ⚽ Peniel Panthers - Clwb Pel Droed Football Club

A brilliant afternoon bringing local businesses together! 💙

Last Thursday, we were delighted to sponsor Swansea Bay Business Club's October Lunch at Machynys Peninsula Golf & Premier Spa in Llanelli. Machynys Peninsula Golf Club & Premier Spa

It was great to see so many people from across the local business community coming together, catching up and making new connections.

A big thank you to guest speaker Simon Davies, Head of Economic Development and Property at Carmarthenshire County Council, who shared his thoughts on the future of Carmarthenshire and South West Wales, and the opportunities ahead for our region.

It's always encouraging to hear about the ambition and investment happening right here on our doorstep.

At LHP, we're proud to work with businesses across West Wales, so supporting events that bring our business community together is something that means a lot to us.

A huge thank you to Swansea Bay Business Club for organising another fantastic event, and to everyone who came along. We're already looking forward to the next one! 👏🏻

“Can I put that through the business?” 👀

It's probably one of the most common questions accountants get asked!

And the answer isn't always a simple yes or no.
Just because you've paid for something using your business account doesn't automatically mean you can claim it as a business expense.

What you've bought, why you've bought it and whether you use it personally can all make a difference.
And the rules aren't always the same for sole traders and limited companies either.

Our advice? Ask before you buy, rather than finding out afterwards.

A quick conversation could save you a lot of confusion when it comes to your tax return especially with our expert tax team.
