Dear all,

We decided to put our current premises on the market and several clients contacted us worried that we were closing, or I was retiring, or even worse, maybe I had died. Nothing of the sort!

The other firms of local accountants can return the bottles of champagne to the fridge and cancel all the celebrations. We are EXPANDING!! 😁

As I tell my children, I havent peaked yet and we are still growing at a fantastic pace. We just need a bigger office.

We have fabulous clients and thank you all for your support. Working in Castle Douglas is still a hoot and lots of fun!

We have exciting news that we are thrilled to be able to share! 👏

As some of you may already be aware, we are in the process of selling our premise and currently looking for somewhere larger to continue to grow Wheeler Groves Accountancy Services.

We will keep you all informed of our progress along the way but HOW EXCITING! :)

We would just like to reassure you all that we are still going strong but just welcoming a new chapter for where we will be meeting your accounting needs, hopefully in the near future! :)

Just to make comment on the events this morning, their has been a small house fire in the property directly next to us. All is well with us though and business as usual :)

Please note: we are closing the office at 1pm today and will resume as normal tomorrow.

🎄🎅 ITS CHRISTMAS! 🎅🎄

Our office will be closed for the holidays as of Wednesday 17th December and we will reopen on Monday 5th January 2026 🍾

In order to help us in the run up to Christmas, if we provide you with any of the following services then please follow the advice:

💷 Payroll - It is important we have your employees hours (weekly/monthly) before this Friday to ensure we can provide wageslips for the festive period.

🗂️ VAT - If your VAT is due in before the end of December we would ask that it was sent to the office, or by email to [email protected], no later than Friday 12th December to ensure that it can be completed before the deadline.

📚 Bookwork - To collect/drop off - Please let us know when you are planning on collecting or dropping off your bookwork to enable us to be prepared for your arrival. If you still need to provide us with bookwork for 2023/24 or 2024/25 please make arrangements to get this to us as soon as possible as the deadline is looming!

To all of our clients, our office will be closed from 4pm Thursday 17th April and will reopen at 9am Monday 28th April.

You will notice that we are closing for longer than the Easter Bank Holiday this year and this is due to allowing our staff some well deserved time off with their families.

We will still be accessible through email for any urgent queries and are still contactable if necessary.

🎄 ITS OFFICIALLY CHRISTMAS TIME AT WHEELER GROVES! 🎄

We are kicking off the Christmas celebrations with our Christmas jumpers on and decorations up and what better way to show all of our lovely clients than a team photo! 🎅
