🚨 MTD is coming – are you ready?

If your total income was over £50,000 in the 2023–24 tax year and you're self-employed or a landlord, big changes are on the horizon.

From April 2026, HMRC will require you to:

✅ Keep digital records
✅ Submit quarterly updates
✅ Use MTD-compatible software
✅ File an End of Period Statement and Final Declaration

This is part of the Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment (MTD for ITSA) rollout – designed to streamline and modernise the UK tax system.
