MTD is fast approaching, and faster than you think! 😖

The first quarter has just ended so, now is the perfect time to send over your income and expenses for the period 6th April to 5th July

Don't worry if your records aren't 100% accurate as we can go in and correct your submissions as we go on, MTD is not four tax returns but instead a running total of your income and expenses throughout the year!

That also means you will only have to pay once as well, as soon as your final declaration is sent away to HMRC then your bill is paid same as it always has been 😁

Even if you have not been flagged for MTD by us please still give this post a read as eventually all sole traders and landlords will be required to comply with MTD rules by 2029!!

The callers are targeting people who have recently registered a company. They claim to be calling from the ‘registration department’ of Companies House, and ask for contact details so they can send out ‘registration documents’.

Please be aware of these telephone calls and do not give out your information. ❌

⚠️ Fake Fixed Penalty Notice emails

Scam emails are being sent to members of the public from [email protected]. These emails include incorrect reference numbers and direct people to a fake payment website.

If you receive one, do not click any links or make a payment. Always use GOV UK to check and pay penalties, and report any suspicious messages.
