Team Clear Vision Bake Off 2026.

Well, well, well… someone’s gingerbread dreams crumbled faster than a digestive in a cup of tea. Sadly, it was Shannon who was given the bake-off boot, sent flying through the big white tent flaps after her ambitious attempt to transform gingerbread into wearable butterfly wings. Those wings were never going to take flight darling – they barely had the strength to hold themselves together!

But fear not, for where one baker’s dreams crumble, another baker’s buns are ready for action. Enter Sarah. She swept into the office this morning with a spring in her step, a twinkle in her eye and enough smugness to fill a family-sized mixing bowl.

And with the the new Audience Choice Week upon us (featuring a Family Signature Challenge), Sarah had recruited her fabulous daughter, Avery, to lend a little helping hand.

Photo One: Sarah proudly displaying her chocolate button cookies, looking every inch the woman who knows how to handle a firm biscuit. Perfectly rounded, gloriously tempting and just begging to be gobbled. Photo Two: Little Avery, whisking away like a tiny patisserie pro who knows her way around a mixing bowl. Clearly the baking talent runs in the family.

A huge thank you Sarah and Avery for serving up cookies that were buttery, chocolatey and gloriously chewy. The kind of bake that leaves you licking your lips, brushing the crumbs from your top and shamelessly wondering if it’s too early to ask for seconds. (It isn’t, ladies and gentlemen).

But wipe that chocolate from your mouths you cookie crunchers, because all eyes are turning to tomorrow night’s Bread Week challenge. Will the bakers prove they’ve got what it takes to get a good rise? Will we see some magnificent buns, a cracking crust, or a flat-out disappointment?

Team Clear Vision Bake Off 2026.

And so it begins… and quite frankly, we’re already struggling to keep our baps under control.

After a surprisingly gentle first week, where nobody was shown the door, last Tuesday saw the first casualty of the competition. Danni was sent packing from the big white tent and in a brutal twist of fate, her Clear Vision counterpart was our very own Joe.

Yes. LAST YEAR’S CHAMPION. First out. Savage.

For Biscuit Week, Joe decided to go all out with his homemade chocolate-drizzle shortbread. And when we say drizzle, we mean he really let it all out.

Behold Joe and his magnificent creations – golden, delicate, precision-cut, firm where they needed to be and absolutely covered in chocolate. A masterclass in technique and presentation and proof that it’s not what you’ve got but what you do with it that counts.

But the competition doesn’t stop there. Tonight brings the Audience Choice Challenge and things are expected to get messy. Will the bakers rise to the occasion? Will someone choke under pressure? Will the tension finally boil over?

Grab a cuppa, loosen your aprons, keep your buns warm and prepare yourselves…

Congratulations George!

We’re delighted to announce that George Hartnell has been promoted to Accounts Manager at Clear Vision.

George has been an integral part of the Clear Vision team for over 5 years and during that time he has shown incredible commitment, dedication and professional growth. Alongside his role, George has successfully completed a number of his ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) exams and is now on track to complete his professional accountancy qualification in the coming year.

We’re incredibly proud of everything George has achieved so far and we’re confident he’s more than ready for this next step in his career. In his new role, George will take on greater responsibility and play an even bigger part in supporting our clients and helping them navigate their own business journeys.

Massive congratulations George. We’re excited to see you continue to grow and succeed in your new role.

Erik Molnar – One Year On

One year, countless spreadsheets and more numbers than any normal person should have to deal with – and Erik is still smiling!

It’s officially been a year since Erik joined Clear Vision as an Accounts Manager and he’s quickly become an invaluable part of the team – keeping the numbers in check, the accounts in order and the rest of us entertained along the way.

Naturally, we couldn’t let the occasion pass without a suitably fitting gift: Pokémon cards. Because if you spend your working life chasing figures, you might as well spend your free time catching Pokémon.

Congratulations on one year Erik. Here’s to another 12 months of crunching numbers, battling spreadsheets and catching ‘em all!

It’s happening… again!

The Great British Bake Off is back on our screens from Tuesday 22nd September and Team Clear Vision is ready to get their hands dirty.

As with last year, we’re pairing each of our brave bakers with a GBBO contestant. When their contestant gets the boot, it’s game on…

They’ll have to rise to the occasion, tackle the week’s theme and bring their best bake into the office. No excuses. No mercy. And absolutely no soggy bottoms!

Will their dough rise?
Will their buns be up to scratch?
Will they crumble under pressure?
Will someone be caught with their fingers in the pie?

And, most importantly – who’s got the biggest… technical?

Expect stiff competition, sticky situations, questionable piping skills and a few bakes that definitely needed more time in the oven.

Team Tease Tuesday…

If you’ve ever called or popped into the Clear Vision office, you’ve probably already met Sarah. She’s our front-desk superstar, the organiser and quite possibly the person secretly holding the entire office together.

Answering the phones? Sarah.
Keeping the paperwork moving? Sarah.
Organising the team? Sarah.
Somehow making things run smoothly? Yep… Sarah again!

And when her working day is done, Sarah swaps office mode for Mum mode, keeping up with Spencer and Avery – usually at approximately 100 miles an hour. From mini golf adventures to beach days, there’s never a dull moment in the Carson household.

When she does manage to find five minutes to herself, you’ll find Sarah with her nose in a good book… assuming nobody needs a snack, a lift, or a toy retrieved from somewhere impossible.

Thanks for being you Sarah – our office would be a lot less organised (and considerably less bubbly) without you!

For National Payroll Week 2026, we’re shining the spotlight on the people behind the payslips – Sara, Tim and Emma.

Sara’s our Payroll Manager and she brings a calm and focused approach to every payroll period, making even the busiest payroll deadlines look effortless. When she’s not keeping payrolls on track, you’ll probably find her on the golf course, working on that already impressive handicap.

Tim’s mastered the art of juggling payroll, accountancy, family life and a long list of hobbies. Between keeping up with his toddler son, improving his golf swing, enjoying cricket and musicals and cheering on Chelsea FC, we’re not quite sure where he finds the time!

Emma’s our resident film enthusiast, swapping payroll spreadsheets for movie nights whenever she gets the chance. Away from the office, she’s happiest by the coast with her family – especially when there’s a boat involved and absolutely no Wi-Fi required.

Different personalities, different passions but one shared goal – keeping payroll running smoothly.

Here’s to Sara, Tim and Emma – and all the payroll professionals who keep businesses moving, one payslip at a time.
