📅 Your first quarterly return is due by 7th August — so don’t leave it to the last minute!

👉 The key message? Don’t panic. There’s still time to get set up properly and understand what’s required.

✅ Check if you might be exempt
✅ If needed, apply now to avoid unnecessary stress later
✅ Get your records and software ready early

A little preparation now will save a lot of headaches later. If you’re unsure where to start now’s the time to ask! 💬

It’s a wet, rainy Friday so just for a laugh here’s a little scenario I wrote for an accountants group that somehow manages to be both comedy and documentary ⬇️
Internal Gov Meeting –
Numpty #1: “Right, we’ve passed this completely bonkers bit of legislation. No systems, no staff, no clue. What next?”
Numpty #2: “Simple. Hand it to the accountants.”
Numpty #1: “😂 Brilliant. They’ll just get on with it. They always do.”
Numpty #2: “And if they can’t we’ll fine them or their clients will shout at them. Either way — sorted.”
