On Sunday 31st May 2026, four members of the JW Hinks team will be taking on the Royal Sutton Fun Run to raise money for our new charity partner, Acorns Children's Hospice.

Caitlin Oakes, Hamid Bukhari, Charlie Jones and Rocco Smallman will be tackling the 8.5-mile course to help raise crucial funds for the fantastic work Acorns carries out for children and families in our community.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, our managers have been creating space for open, honest conversations through team “coffee sessions” to check in on day‑to‑day wellbeing ☕

It sits alongside the support we offer all year round - including four trained Mental Health First Aiders and Responders, encouragement to take real breaks, lunchtime outdoor walks at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and regular team activities that help people connect.

An incredible £2,125 raised for The Kaleidoscope Plus Group! 👏

Over the last 12 months, we have been proud to support the Kaleidoscope Plus Group as our chosen charity of the year.

From office bake-offs, fetes and raffles, to challenging fun runs and team events, our staff have gone above and beyond in their fundraising efforts, all in aid of supporting mental health wellbeing. 🙌

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Calum, Eve and Kali to our office to celebrate our achievements and present them with our cheque. It was also an opportunity to hear the meaningful impact our donation will have on Kaleidoscope’s community – a powerful reminder of why we chose this cause.

Kashif and Grace recently participated in the first Calthorpe Estates Speed Career Networking Event at the Botanical Gardens, speaking with pupils about careers in accountancy.

It was a fantastic morning engaging with the students, sharing our experiences, and giving them a taste of what a career in accountancy involves.
