🚨 I'M BACK! 😂💻

Well… slowly!

I’m starting to get back to work and I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has sent messages, flowers and well wishes. 💐❤️

But most of all, thank you for your patience! 🙏

I’m still taking things slowly, so please bear with me while I get back up to speed.

The laptop is on.
The spreadsheets are open.
The calculator is working.
The brain… questionable. 😂

I really do have a lovely bunch of clients 💕

Just a little update from me...

I'll be taking some time away from work over the next wee while as I'm having an operation on my jaw (I know, finally something to shut me up) 🤣.

If you message me during this time, I may take a little longer than usual to reply, but I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

A huge thank you to all my amazing clients for your patience, understanding, and continued support.

Running my own business means the world to me, and I'll be back as soon as I'm fit and ready.

See you all soon,
Becci 💜

Why did the cows cross the road? It was the chickens day off…! Only joking, it was to say hello to our campers of course 🐮🤠

I've had a few clients and followers contact me recently asking about software and MTD.

Id recommend Xero personally but every accountant has their favourite!

Most software's are compatible with the new MTD changes 🙂

☀️ Holiday Mode: ON ☀️

Just a little heads up that I'll be taking a week off for a wee family holiday! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I'll still be keeping an eye on my emails when I can, but if your query isn't urgent, I'll get back to you as soon as I'm back.

I'm swapping spreadsheets for sunshine, calculators for cocktails, and deadlines for my wee dudes. 💙 😎

Thank you so much for your patience and for keeping me so busy this year—it really is appreciated.

Have a lovely week 💜

HMRC: "It'll make things easier."

Business owners: suspicious 🤨

A lot of you have been in touch asking about MTD. It really isn't as scary as it sounds!

A lot of you are also leaving it until the last minute!

If you're self-employed or have rental income and you're wondering whether MTD affects you, drop me a message and I'll point you in the right direction.

Don't dig that hole you've been putting your head into any bigger 🪏

🎉 Thank you to everyone who got their bits and bobs to me on time this month!

As for that one client who hasn't sent ANYTHING yet...(you know who you are 🫣)
This is your friendly reminder 👀😂

I've got a very busy few weeks ahead, so if I'm a little slower than usual replying to emails or getting back to you, please bear with me!

And if you've been waiting a while and think I've forgotten you... feel free to send a polite (or not-so-polite 😄) email chaser.

☕ Start the day like me..

✅ Walk the boys to school
✅ Coffee topped up
✅ To-do list ready
✅ Emails checked
✅ Calculator within arm's reach
✅ Convinced i'll just "quickly" check one thing before starting

Thirty minutes later you're three spreadsheets deep, have solved a mystery from last year's accounts, and completely forgotten why you opened your laptop in the first place. 😆

No matter how busy the day ahead looks, a little organisation and a good brew can make all the difference.

How do you start your working day?
