From April 2028, small companies and micro-entities will be required to file additional financial information with Companies House as part of wider reforms aimed at increasing corporate transparency and tackling economic crime.

While businesses will be able to opt out of publicly disclosing their profit and loss account, certain financial information will still remain visible through the Statement of Changes in Equity.
