Could an apprentice be your next great hire? 🎓
At Griffin, apprenticeships have played an important part in our growth story - and we’ve seen first-hand the value they can bring to both the individual and the business. For us, it’s a genuine win-win.
🌱 Young people get the opportunity to earn, learn, gain professional qualifications and build a meaningful career.
📈 As a business, we get to invest in exceptional young talent, develop their skills and help them grow within the Griffin culture and way of working.
And that investment can create something really powerful.
People join at the beginning of their careers, learn and develop, progress into more senior roles - and eventually begin supporting and developing the next generation coming through behind them.
Recruit → Learn → Develop → Progress → Lead → Mentor → Repeat 🔄
From 1 October 2026, there’s another reason for businesses to explore apprenticeships too.
Eligible non-levy-paying employers in England may be able to receive a £2,000 hiring payment when recruiting a qualifying new apprentice aged 16-24, subject to eligibility criteria.
But while the financial support matters, we believe the real value is much bigger.
It’s about creating opportunities, investing in people and developing the talent your business will need tomorrow.
As a B Corp, that matters to us. Building a successful business while having a positive impact on the people within it should go hand in hand💙
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more of Griffin’s own apprenticeship story - from welcoming the newest members of our team to celebrating some fantastic career journeys that started with an apprenticeship.
Because sometimes your next great hire could become one of your future leaders.
Could apprenticeships become part of your business growth story?
