While not coming into effect until April 2028, there's a change to the state pension you may want to start planning for. 🗓️

The normal minimum pension age (NMPA) will increase from 55 to 57 on the 6th April 2028, to correspond with the increase in State Pension age to 67.

The change to age 57 will affect most people born after 5 April 1973. However, members of the firefighters, police and armed forces public service schemes will not be affected by this increase.

Start planning now and don't get caught out by The "Birth Date" Trap. ❌
