Out of the office and out in the field! 🚜🌾

We had a fantastic day out at the Monitor Farm summer meet. It was great to catch up with familiar faces and connect with our brilliant local rural community.

Modern farming is a complex business. Between changing costs, new grant structures, and planning for the future, there is a lot to manage behind the scenes. This meeting was a fantastic opportunity to bring together industry experts and farmers to discuss business growth, profitability and new opportunities.

We don't just sit behind desks - we love getting out on the ground to truly understand the daily realities and challenges our agricultural clients face.

📢 UK Tax Changes You Need to Know About - Summer 2026

Two significant updates have come into effect that could benefit individuals, families and businesses alike.

🚗 Mileage Rate Increase
The approved mileage rate for cars and vans has risen from 45p to 55p per mile (for the first 10,000 miles), backdated to 6 April 2026. If you use your own vehicle for work, now is the time to review your claims.

🎡 Temporary VAT Reduction
From 25 June to 1 September 2026, VAT on children’s meals, family entertainment tickets and attraction admissions will be temporarily cut from 20% to 5% across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
