You know the one. A shoebox that arrives every year like a proud little delivery of chaos. Packed with crumpled receipts, half torn invoices, faded bits of paper that may or may not be from this decade, not forgetting the crumbs, mould, greaseβ¦ and occasionally something that makes you pause and ask βwhy is this even in hereβ π€
MTD means we have no choice but to get strict and your box of 's**t' is no longer acceptable. We simply don't have time to be flattening receipts, squinting at faded ink and questioning our life choices π€¦ if you can't be bothered why should we π€·
Here is the truth. Most clients are more than capable of using the tools they are given to provide their records in an orderly fashion. It is not about ability. It is about habit π
And sometimes, a gentle nudge in the form of 'we no longer accept your s**t' is exactly what is needed to move from chaos to control π
The box of shame might be funny.
But a clean set of books? That is the real deal and what we expect moving forward π
