Do you have something to say?

If you have a great idea, no matter how big or small, or want to grow your confidence and abilities with speaking,

PechaKucha Gloucester needs you!

So what are we looking for?

Well, here are some of the talks we have already hosted in 2026.

We had our first ever 5x5 (5 slides, 5 seconds per slide) about the iconic Waldorf salad.

A very informative 20x20 (20 slides, 20 seconds per slide) that demystified what it is like to actually run as a local councillor and why you might want to give it a go.

And a super 10x10 (you guessed it, 10 slides, 10 seconds per slide) fun and creative audience participation live dating app with a swipe right for the artistic movement you would like to date.

If you think you're the right kind of creative thinker and speaker to take on the challenge, please get in touch. The weirder and more tangential, the better; we love an interesting project or story.

Member Monday ✨

One of the biggest things we've learned from five years of mentoring and working alongside creative people is that consistency matters.

Not talent.
Not luck.

Just showing up, again and again.

If you're struggling with consistency, feeling stuck, or trying to build momentum in your creative practice, pop in and say hello. A lot of our members find that having a creative community around them makes all the difference.

Which brings me nicely to this week's Member Monday spotlight...

We're delighted to welcome our newest resident, Adam Rush.

Adam is a ceramic artist and sculptor whose work explores storytelling, emotion, and personal experience through expressive pottery and sculpture. Drawing on a background in Contemporary Art and Design, his pieces often sit somewhere between the beautiful, the strange, and the deeply human. His face jugs, vessels, and sculptural works are packed with character, humour, and feeling, creating objects that feel both ancient and entirely their own.

What has really stood out to us, though, is not just the quality of the work itself, but the consistency of the branding, documentation, and storytelling around it.

It's a great reminder that building a creative practice isn't just about making the work. It's also about sharing it, documenting it, and showing up regularly.

We're so happy to have Adam as part of the Jolt community and can't wait to see what he creates next.

To find out more about his work, follow 👏

If you're a Jolt member or resident and would like to be featured in a future Member Monday, leave a comment below or send us a message 👋
